Entry #11 “The Sins That Will Come”

Do you remember your childhood he asked. No she replied. She was lying down on a leather couch. The room was dark and bland. It was warm and cozy she decided. Nothing at all he asked. Nope. Ok he siad, I want you ro lie back and close your eyes. Become aware of your surroundings. Every little sound, smell, movment, everything he said. As she laid back and listened the hum of the light became audible. So did her breathing, his breathing, and the slight squeaks of his chair. Now i want you to feel the atmosphere areound you he said. She was confused, but tried. It started off slightly, but grew. It seemed the air was vibrating around her. She tried moving, but was unable to. Now he said I want you to go back. The room began to shake and changed diffrent colors. She began to scream, and then it hit her. All the sins of the past and of th future became clear. Everthing that happened, and what was going to happen flashed infront of her eyes. It all fell perfectly into place. One action causing another. Then it ended…

Entry #10 “Death’s Kiss”

Oh sweet Death how I long for your kiss. The kiss that will bring me blue skies and beyond. That eternal happiness in my mind I have yet to even dream about. However you and I both know that the kiss is not yet ready for me. I still have a life to live, love to share, and mistakes to make. Life will go on, and I will put back the thought of your kiss. I know though that the thought will always be in the back of my mind, growing.

Entry #9 “Sorrow, The Devil’s Song”

Our lives were filled with sorrow before we were even born. People say I’m cynical, I’m dark, I’m pessimistic. Let them. The idea is planted in their soul. Only with time will it bloom and they will feel the empty spaces filled with sorrow piercing their soul and their mind. It will explode in them and consume them. Then they to, will see. The liars and the deceivers are not the ones who encourage sorrow, but the ones who claim we create our own. They may not recognize it, but we all know it. Life is laced with sorrow. So intertwined one cannot exist without the other. The Devil will play his song and we will dance in despair. Once we recognize this only then we can we be able to cope with sorrow.

Entry #8 “The Clockwork of Innocence”

His innocence defined him. He cherished it. It connected him to his childhood that was slipping through his fingers. He missed those simplistic days. Those days where everything was easy going. Where he didn’t have to worry about those now everyday demons that haunted him. Where the days were long, and the nights were filled with peaceful slumber and fantastic dreams. Now-a-days the inside of the office was all he knew. The only freedom he could grasp was the late night walks through the city were the silence was his best friend. Many called him odd, detached, naive but he did not care. Why would he want to give up on all hope of having a life as simplistic as when he was an adolescent?  His family couldn’t help him. Neither could his friends nor his co-workers. He was stuck in a clockwork that his mind would not let him escape. In reality he had no friends nor family. His future was non-existant. He lived in the past as a child. All he ever really had was his innocence.

I’m still waiting to grow up.

I’m still waiting for life to take me away.

I’m still waiting.

Entry #7 “The Moth”

The ocean is as old and mysterious as time itself she told me. We were standing on the edge of the beach looking out to sea. The sun was setting and the air was hazy. It was becoming harder to breathe. I turned around to face the beach. Sand extended as far as the eye could see in all directions. Far in the distance against the dark purple sky the outline of a giant moth was visible. It screams drifted faintly toward us. It to, was dying. I turned back to the sea and stared into the deep red sky. I walked into the ocean to feel the water on my feet. The water was hot and heavy. I looked at her and she was smiling. She began to laugh as a tear rolled down her cheek. We made it she said. I looked at her and smiled. I grabbed her hand and we sat down in the sand. The ocean had been calm ever since the moon disappeared and the breeze had stopped long before that.. She leaned her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. I’m ready she said. The last glimpse of the sun disappeared under the horizon for the last time.

Entry #6 “…and Exits”

She needs to leave.

She needs an exit.

She needs an entrance.

Entry #5 “Entrances”

She sat alone in the room. Clocks ticking, thoughts to herself. She was alone in the world. No existed but her and her thoughts. She wanted to leave this God forsaken place she called home. She was not bound for this earth. She was far too lonely in this God forsaken earth. For she was alone in the world. No one existed but her and her thoughts. She was unable to depart from this earth though. The entrances she made could not be turned into exits. So there she sat alone in the room. Clocks ticking, and thoughts to herself.

Entry #4 “Are you scared my dear?”

Quiet darling, we are not alone tonight. Don’t you hear them in the trees whispering? That ever so slight laugh? The light patter of the rain echos around us. The moon hidden by the dark clouds of thunder. Do you feel their eyes on you? Be quiet, do not speak. They are waiting to attack, they will not hesitate. Are you scared my dear? The woods will consume you if you admit to it. Do not run dear, you will get lost. Let’s just sit here till the morning sun pierces the night sky.

Entry #3 “World Without End”

Come back to me darling. The lights are off. Why do i only see you in the darkness? Don’t you know I have been searching for you? Close you eyes dear, the rest will go on for miles. Are you watching it all go by? I’m right beside you my dear for world without end. I will love you till the last mile goes by, and until the last light goes off. Together, my dear, we will walk to the ends of the earth.

Entry #2 “Shiver”

Me and my lover were walking hand in hand through the park,

and Death followed close behind.

It was a cold day it was, in that park.

My lover shivered, and I was unable to warm her.

When Death saw this he came up and took her.

I was walking alone in the park.

Not far behind was Death and my lover.

It was a cold December day it was.

I shivered, and was unable to warm myself.

When Death saw this he sent my lover and she came and took me.

Me and my lover were walking hand in hand across the Heavens,

and it was us, and only us, forever on time.

Entry #1 “Tell me dear, do you dream?”

Tell me dear, do you dream she asked me. Her hands clenched mine tight, her eyes glistening. Sometimes I replied. She looked deep into my eyes. The pain was evident. She closed her eyes and a a tear rolled down her cheek and she smiled. You will my darling, you will she said in a soft voice. She smiled at me again, and closed her eyes as another tear rolled down. I brushed it off, holding my own tears back. Her eyes never did again open that chilly November day. I was not sad, nor angry, I had no emotions. I decided I was tired and headed off to bed. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I saw here there in that snowy field. Tell me dear, do you dream she asked me once again. Yes darling, always.
